Alzheimer’s is devastating! According to the Alzheimer’s Association, nearly 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million. Alzheimer’s disease was the fifth-leading cause of death among people aged 65 and older in 2021.

The lifetime risk for Alzheimer’s in women at age 45 is twice as high for women as it is for men. Living with Alzheimer’s is never easy, but women face unique challenges due to their age and societal roles.
