Direct Care Giver, At Home Care Services (CNA Or PCA Required)
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Direct Care Givers are the heart of our organization and the hands-on delivery of our promise to clients. You will be responsible for:

  • Companionship - going beyond keeping our clients company to interacting with them in their areas of interest (news, gaming, puzzles, gardening, animals)
  • Mental stimulation - ensuring our highly intelligent clients continue to exercise their brains every day
  • Mobility, stability and physical activity -- each day, our clients need physical exercise, preferably out of doors; activity also can include restorative therapies
  • Personal care -- supporting and delivering routine personal care (teeth brushing, dressing, changing, toileting) to ensure the happiness and dignity of clients
  • Household care -- light housekeeping, grocery shopping, pet care, plant care
  • Meal Preparation & Hydration -- to ensure good nutrition and hydration
  • Medication Reminders -- to protect the health and medication compliance of all clients

Credentials & Experience:

  • CNA or PCA required
  • Basic Life Support Certification/ CPR Certified
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Comfortable using a computer
  • References from home health positions a plus
  • More than one year experience preferred
  • Fit: This role requires excellent customer service skills, good communication skills, empathy, and a see-it-needs-to-be-done-and-go-ahead-and-do-it mindset.
  • Requirements: Background Check, Credentials Check, 3 days In Office Training on Company, Standards & Deliverables
